The Opportunity:

Logic Employment Services is proud to partner with a growing painting and finishing solutions organization in Tilbury, ON.  This is a great opportunity to join an organization that provides robotic painting and assembly/sub-assembly services for plastic and metal parts. This is a full-time opportunity requiring flexibility to work rotating shifts, including afternoon and midnight shifts. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s knowledge, education, trade qualifications, and relevant experience.

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, machinery, and facility systems. The successful candidate will be hands-on, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Maintain motors, pumps, conveyors, drives, gearboxes, paint line equipment, ovens, and related machinery.
  • Perform equipment repairs, adjustments, alignments, installations, and component replacement.
  • Complete basic welding/fabrication and facility maintenance as required.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and support continuous improvement.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, PPE, and machine guarding requirements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Industrial maintenance/manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic electrical knowledge.
  • Hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, fabrication, or millwright experience is an asset.
  • Ability to read basic technical drawings and use hand/power tools safely.
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work with limited supervision.

Apprentices

2nd- and 3rd-year apprentices are encouraged to apply. Relevant hands-on experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn are required.
